Zombies Attack

A VR arcade shooter developed with Unreal Engine 4 for survival gameplay.

Project Origin

First Unreal Engine Project

This was my first project on Unreal Engine. It was a single/multiplayer VR game (arcade style) where players shoot zombies and try to survive for at least five minutes. It was a significant milestone in learning the engine's core systems and VR integration.

Mechanics

Zombies AI

The Zombies AI is designed to move toward the closest player and attack until either the player or the zombie is eliminated. They feature different movement states (sneaking, walking, running) and randomized attack speeds, damage, and movement speeds to create variety in gameplay.

Systems

Spawning System

Spawning volumes were strategically placed across the maps, with zombies spawning at random locations within these volumes to ensure unpredictable and challenging encounters.
